  14. Dear colleagues,
  15.  
  16. We are now past the deadline for submission of proposals for glossary
  17. entries. I thank all contributors very much for their valuable input.
  18. Below are some final remarks.
  19.  
  20. Several entries were proposed at the last moment. While these were
  21. valuable contributions, there was not time for comments from the
  22. community. Also, discussions were on-going with respect to other,
  23. recently proposed entries. I have chosen to reflect the special
  24. unresolved status of these entries by placing them in a separate
  25. section in the final glossary document. The entries include:
  26.  
  27. Temporal value integrity, coalesce, admissibility interval,
  28. chronologically definite, chronologically indefinite, temporally
  29. indeterminate, temporally determinate, temporal modality, temporal
  30. rule, time sequence, and temporal interpolation.
  31.  
  32. I encourage contributors to define resolved versions of the entries,
  33. that are still being discussed. These can then be brought to the
  34. workshop, as an addendum. These entries include temporal value
  35. integrity, time sequence, coalesce (Jim, Fabio, Maria, Paolo, Rick,
  36. and Arie), admissibility interval, chronologically definite,
  37. chronologically indefinite, temporally indeterminate, temporally
  38. determinate, temporal modality (Angelo, Barbara, Elisa, and Curtis).

  40. Fabio, Maria, and Paolo have, as a contribution to the on-going
  41. discussions, formulated partial glossary entries. Complete versions of
  42. these may also be included in the addendum.

  44. The workshop version of the glossary will be available by anonymous
  45. ftp within one week--a notice will be posted when it is available.
